Not a picture of a garden.
The manual for building one.

Describe your space in two minutes. Minutes later a Dossier arrives: a to-scale plan, a climate-justified plant palette, a costed budget, the order of works, and a full garden year.

One flat price, 99 €, one time. No designer waiting for a site visit, no revision invoices, no subscription.

A landscape architect's site plan of a residential garden: terrace, gravel path, planting beds, a tree and a hedge, with dimension lines.

The gap is not inspiration. It is buildability.

A homeowner knows exactly how they want the garden to feel. Nothing on the market tells them what to actually do. So they end up with a pretty image and five unanswered questions: what goes where, which plants survive here, what will it cost, in what order, and what do I do to it in November.

The local landscaper

A free design that is really a sales document for their own build, after months of waiting, with no independent view of cost.

The online design studio

Thirty working days for a 2D plan. Every revision billed again. Layouts that do not always suit the site they were drawn for.

The photo the app repainted

A mood in ten seconds. Nothing in the image can be quoted, ordered or planted, and no plant in it was checked against your soil.

Which is why gardens get half-started, then abandoned.

02

Sixty seconds of watching someone competent think about your garden.

11,40 m8,20 mNHouseTerrace 23 m²Bed 01 — 8 speciesBed 02 — dry, full sunOlea europaea
  1. South-west exposure: shade is needed over the terrace at 18 h.
  2. Clay soil, pH 7,4: no camellia, no hydrangea, no rhododendron.
  3. Slope 4 %: drainage is laid before the paving, in phase 2.

You enter six fields. The plan then draws itself over your real dimensions, line by line, while the reasoning behind each line is stated plainly.

It is not a progress bar with a garden behind it. It is the work being done: your postcode resolved to a climate zone, your orientation turned into shade, your soil turned into a shortlist of species that will still be alive in five years.

What arrives: the Dossier, in five parts.

  1. 01

    Plan

A to-scale 2D drawing of your terrain: zones, circulation, terrace and beds, on your own metres.

  2. 02

    Plant palette

Every species defended against your climate zone, soil and exposure, with quantities and prices.

  3. 03

    Budget

Costed against the ceiling you stated. Never rounded in our favour.

  4. 04

    Works order

The build in dated phases, so the drainage happens before the paving.

  5. 05

    Garden year

Twelve rows: what to do in your garden each month, on your plants, not on plants in general.

SpeciesQtyPriceWhy it belongs here
Olea europaeamulti-stem, 14 cm trunk1240 €Hardy to −10 °C once established, which zone 8b allows. Wants the sharp drainage of the gravel bed.
Lavandula × intermedia ‘Grosso’2 L pot14126 €Full south exposure and no summer water after year two. Planted on a 20 cm gravel ridge because your soil is clay.
Stipa gigantea3 L pot678 €Holds its structure through winter and catches the low west light on the terrace at 18 h.

Drainage and levels

Trench the two low corners, lay 40 m of drain, then set the terrace level 15 cm below the door sill. Nothing is paved until this holds water away for one full rain.

Three things, and nothing else

  1. 01Cut the Stipa back to 20 cm, once the seed heads have collapsed.
  2. 02Plant the bare-root hornbeam hedge: this month or the next, never in spring.
  3. 03Mulch the young olive with 5 cm of gravel, kept clear of the trunk.

Eleven more months, each written against the species in your own palette.

A botanical plate: six plant specimens drawn in fine ink line and green wash — olive, lavender, ornamental grass, fern, hellebore leaf and rosemary.
Plate 02 — Plant palette, drawn specimens · dry garden direction
A finished dry garden at dusk: a low limestone terrace wall, an oak bench, an olive tree, clipped santolina mounds and tall grasses in warm light.
Plate 03 — Ambience · dry garden direction · the same garden, five years on

One price. One decision.

The Dossier costs 99 €, one time. Revisions are included for 30 days, because a review you have to pay for is not a review.

We can price a garden this way because no designer is waiting on a site visit. Their price is a person’s time. Ours is not, and we would rather pass that on than pretend it is scarce.

We price a garden. We never quote work we will not do, so the budget has no reason to flatter anyone.
